Sam Richardson, Podcast Host & Administrative Director

Sam Richardson is the host of the Unashamed Unafraid Podcast, where he shares his own story and helps others tell theirs with raw honesty and hope. After years of feeling stuck in addiction, Sam started to gain traction in his recovery journey in early 2023 when he finally found safe places to open up about his story. Through experiences like writing his story for the first time and attending Warrior Heart Boot Camp, he discovered the healing power of vulnerability and connection, especially with Jesus. Sam wants people to see that he is just a guy in recovery. He’s still not as recovered or sober as he wants to be, but he’s going to get there someday

Today, Sam is pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a passion for helping men whose unwanted sexual behaviors are rooted in trauma. He believes that transparency and authenticity are what truly heal people, and he uses the podcast to create a space where those values come to life. For Sam, recovery isn’t about perfection—it’s about courage, honesty, and the power of stories to change lives.
